During an influenza pandemic special travel policies should be enforced to ensure the safety of employees on both business and holiday travel, especially if that travel involves visiting infected areas.
It should not be company policy to restrict cross border travel during any Pandemic Alert Status, however employees are duty bound to take all necessary precautions to protect themselves and protect colleagues on their return to the workplace.
