During an influenza pandemic special travel policies should be enforced to ensure the safety of employees on both business and holiday travel, especially if that travel involves visiting infected areas.

It should not be company policy to restrict cross border travel during any Pandemic Alert Status, however employees are duty bound to take all necessary precautions to protect themselves and protect colleagues on their return to the workplace.

All staff should re-acquaint themselves with the company’s Travel Policy Guidelines before planning to travel.

More details can be found on Travel Policy Guidelines in the Travel Policy Guidelines section of the manual. To see our Travel Policy Guidelines section, simply subscribe, then access it from the restricted Bird Flu Manual Online "Contents Page". Subscription is free.

Additional information should be obtained from staff intending to travel, whether on business or pleasure, in the company's Travel Application Form, including contact information for each leg of their journey.

We recommend you prepare your Travel Application Form now.

Alternatively you can download our ready made, fully customizable, Travel Application Form Template at our special 50% discount price of only US$4.95. (The form comes in MS. Word format with a PDF copy).
