PANDEMIC ALERT STATUS - ORANGE
AWARENESS LEVEL - INCREASING IMPLEMENTATION
Office Access Arrangements are as follows:

Main Entrance/Visitor Reception
Barriers

A temporary 'always open' barrier serving as an Illness Awareness Point will be set up before the main entrance/visitor reception, still allowing persons to enter. Notices reminding persons not to enter if they are suffering from symptoms, and a desk with masks, gloves and wipes being offered to all. Use of masks, gloves and wipes is recommended but not required.

Staff Access

All staff are requested to use the Main Entrance/Visitor Reception the first time they enter the office for the day. Wipe hands using the disinfectant materials supplied. Normal entry points may be used for the rest of the day although staff are reminded to disinfect hands when returning to office from running errands.

Visitor Access

All visitors (except delivery pick-up/drop-off) must only access the office through the main entrance/visitor reception.

Delivery Pick-up/Drop-off Access

No delivery pick-up/drop-off is accepted at main entrance/visitor reception. All services will access only through a secondary entrance. All delivery pick up/drop off brought to main entrance visitor reception should informed of arrangements for subsequent deliveries.

Suspected Sickness Evacuation Route

The Quarantine Room is located (Quarantine Room Location). Persons suspected of being ill should immediately make their way to the Quarantine Room.
Office/Service Entrance
Entry

A temporary Illness Check Point will be set up in front of the south entrance still allowing persons to enter. Notices reminding persons not to enter if they are suffering from symptoms and a desk with masks & wipes being offered to all. Use of masks and wipes is recommended but not required.

Staff Access

All staff may access the office as normal. Staff are reminded to disinfect hands when returning to office from running errands.

Visitor Access

Visitors must only enter/leave the office through the main entrance/visitor reception. Staff accompanying visitors should escort the visitor to the main entrance/visitor reception prior to leaving. No additional restrictions are in place.

Delivery Pick-up/Drop-off Access

All services will access the office only via the secondary entrance. No delivery pick up/drop off is accepted at main entrance/visitor reception.

Notices

Notices instructing delivery pick-up/drop-off personnel to buzz to Mail Room to come outside to make exchange will be placed prominently next to the door.

Delivery Processing

All deliveries to be taken immediately to Delivery Room for sterilisation and processing.

Suspected Sickness Evacuation Route

The Quarantine Room is located in Room. Persons suspected of being ill should immediately make their way to the Quarantine Room.
Cargo Delivery
Drop-off

Delivery personnel to call Main Entrance/Visitor Reception for collection and delivery assistance.

Building Entrance

Entrance restrictions to the building may be imposed at any time by local authorities or the building management company. Staff will be notified immediately should this happen and the company's Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for building closure will go into effect.

Preclinical Proof-of-Concept Studies Published For Novavax Seasonal Influenza Virus-Like-Particle Vaccine
Novavax, Inc. (Nasdaq: NVAX) announced publication of the preclinical study results that supported the clinical development of the company's investigational VLP vaccine against the H3N2, H1N1 and B influenza strains. New data on the persistence of avian influenza viruses in the environment has allowed a team of University of Georgia researchers to create the first model that takes into account both direct and indirect transmission of the viruses among birds.
